preshrunk

Won't get smaller

Preshrunk describes fabric or clothing treated during manufacturing to minimize shrinkage when washed later.

The process involves washing or steaming before the final product is made, so garments labeled preshrunk should retain their size: Buy your usual size—these jeans are preshrunk.

The treatment doesn't eliminate all shrinkage, just most of it.
