popup gallery
Fleeting art space
A popup gallery is a temporary art exhibition space that appears for a limited time in an unconventional or repurposed location—a vacant storefront, warehouse, or other non-traditional venue.
Unlike permanent galleries, popups create urgency and novelty: The popup gallery in the old factory drew crowds all weekend.
The format suits emerging artists and experimental work that might not fit established spaces.
