pearl cotton
Lustrous craft fiber
Pearl cotton is a twisted, non-divisible embroidery thread with a distinctive sheen and slightly raised, rope-like texture.
Unlike stranded cotton floss, it cannot be separated into thinner strands.
It comes in various weights—the higher the number, the finer the thread.
Needleworkers use it for cross-stitch, hardanger, and decorative stitching where a lustrous, textured finish is desired.
