Shooter's first bet
The pass line is the most fundamental bet in craps, placed before the come-out roll.
A bettor wins if the shooter rolls 7 or 11, loses on 2, 3, or 12 (craps), and otherwise establishes a point that must be rolled again before a 7 to win.
The pass line refers both to the bet and the marked area on the craps table where chips are placed: Put your money on the pass line.
