outcurved
Curving away externally
Outcurved means curving outward, away from a central point or axis.
The term appears in descriptions of physical shapes—outcurved walls, outcurved horns—where the curve bends toward the observer or exterior rather than inward.
In baseball, an outcurve is a pitch that breaks away from the batter.
