nude sketch
Unclothed life study
A nude sketch is a drawing of a naked human figure, typically created as artistic practice or study.
Life drawing classes often focus on nude sketches to teach anatomy, proportion, and form: The art school requires students to complete dozens of nude sketches.
The term emphasizes the unfinished or preliminary nature of the work compared to a fully rendered nude painting or sculpture.
