Not stirred describes something that has remained still or unmixed, particularly liquids that haven't been agitated with a spoon or other implement.
The phrase is most familiar from the cocktail instruction "shaken, not stirred"—James Bond's signature martini order, which became a cultural catchphrase.
Beyond drinks, not stirred can describe emotions or situations that remain calm and undisturbed: The news left him not stirred in the slightest.
