A nosebleed seat is a seat in the highest, cheapest section of a stadium, arena, or theater—so far from the action that the altitude might figuratively cause a nosebleed.
The term is usually plural: We could only afford nosebleed seats for the concert.
Despite the dismissive connotation, fans in these sections are often among the most enthusiastic.
