nonsensory

Not through senses

Nonsensory describes what lies outside the realm of the senses—things that cannot be seen, heard, touched, tasted, or smelled.

The term appears in philosophy and psychology when distinguishing between knowledge gained through perception and knowledge arrived at through reasoning or intuition: nonsensory awareness, nonsensory cognition.
