night flyer
Owl or moth
A night flyer is any creature that flies after dark—bats, owls, moths, and certain insects.
The term applies literally to nocturnal animals and figuratively to people who prefer nighttime activity: She's a night flyer, never goes to bed before 3 a.m.
In aviation, a night flyer is a pilot who flies after sunset or an aircraft equipped for night operations.
