Lacking a neck
Neckless describes someone or something lacking a visible neck—the head appearing to sit directly on the shoulders or body.
It applies to people with short, thick necks that seem to disappear, to certain animals and creatures, or to objects designed without a neck portion: a neckless vase, the neckless linebacker.
Not to be confused with *necklace*.
