Image usage authorization
A model release is a legal document in which a person photographed or filmed grants permission for their likeness to be used, typically for commercial purposes.
Photographers obtain model releases to protect against claims of unauthorized use: Always get a signed model release before using photos in advertising.
Also called a model waiver.
