mock exams
Rehearsal for finals
Mock exams are practice tests that simulate real examinations, typically taken before the actual test to assess readiness and identify weak areas.
Common in British education, where students sit mocks before GCSEs or A-levels: I failed my mock exams but passed the real thing.
Also called practice exams or, in American English, practice tests.
