listening tests
Hearing comprehension exams
Listening tests are assessments that measure comprehension of spoken language, typically used in language learning and standardized exams.
Students hear recordings—conversations, lectures, announcements—then answer questions about what was said: The listening test had three sections with increasing difficulty.
They evaluate how well someone processes speech in real time, distinct from reading or speaking abilities.
