library policies
Circulation and conduct
Library policies are the rules and procedures governing how a library operates and how patrons may use its resources.
These cover borrowing limits, late fees, computer use, noise levels, and patron conduct.
The library policies allow three renewals per item.
Policies vary widely between institutions—academic libraries differ from public branches, and individual libraries set their own standards within broader systems.
