laugh line
Crow's foot cousin
A laugh line is a wrinkle or crease on the face, especially around the eyes or mouth, that develops from repeated smiling or laughing over time.
These facial lines are sometimes called crow's feet when they radiate from the outer corners of the eyes.
In a different sense, a laugh line is a joke or witty remark in a speech, script, or performance intended to get a laugh from the audience: The comedian's speech was short on substance but packed with laugh lines.
