Concluding strike dealt
Last hit is a gaming term, especially in multiplayer online battle arenas, for landing the final blow on an enemy unit to secure the kill reward—typically gold or experience points.
Only the player who deals the killing damage gets credit, making last-hitting a core skill: She's been practicing her last hits in the training mode.
The verb form works the same way: I last hit the minion just before you could.
