Styled forehead coil
A kiss curl is a small, flat curl of hair pressed against the forehead or cheek, shaped into a spiral or C-curve.
The style was popular in the early to mid-twentieth century, often achieved with pomade or setting lotion: She smoothed a kiss curl against her temple.
In American English, more often called a spit curl.
