keds
Rubber-soled canvas footwear
Keds is a brand of canvas sneakers with rubber soles, introduced in 1916 and associated with casual, lightweight footwear.
The name has become somewhat generic for simple canvas tennis shoes: She wore white Keds with her sundress.
The brand is particularly linked to preppy American style.
