jersey knit
Soft looped textile
Jersey knit is a soft, stretchy fabric made with a single-knit construction that creates a smooth face and subtle texture on the back.
Originally wool from Jersey in the Channel Islands, it's now made from cotton, synthetic blends, or other fibers.
The fabric drapes well and is used for t-shirts, dresses, and activewear: a comfortable jersey knit dress.
