instant delivery
No waiting period
Instant delivery is the shipment of goods within hours of ordering, typically the same day.
The term emerged with app-based services promising near-immediate fulfillment: The pharmacy offers instant delivery for prescriptions.
What counts as "instant" varies—sometimes under an hour, sometimes by end of day—but the promise is speed that approaches immediacy.
