insolubility
Resists dissolving completely
Insolubility is the quality of being unable to be dissolved or solved.
A substance has insolubility in water if it won't dissolve: the insolubility ofite calcium deposits.
Extended to problems or mysteries, insolubility suggests something that resists resolution: the apparent insolubility of the conflict.
