inline skater
Tandem-wheeled glider person
An inline skater is someone who uses inline skates—boots with wheels arranged in a single row rather than the two-by-two configuration of traditional roller skates.
The activity gained popularity in the 1990s as both recreation and urban transportation: Inline skaters weaved through the park on Sunday mornings.
