in-game currencies
Digital spending tokens
In-game currencies are virtual money systems within video games, used to purchase items, upgrades, or abilities.
Some are earned through gameplay I've been grinding for gold coins, while others—often called premium currencies—are bought with real money.
Games frequently use multiple currencies to separate free progress from paid advantages: You can buy gems with real cash or earn silver by completing quests.
