hybrid courses
Mixed-mode classes
Hybrid courses combine in-person and online instruction, with students attending some sessions in a physical classroom while completing other work remotely.
The format varies—some meet weekly with online components between sessions, others alternate weeks.
Also called blended courses.
The hybrid course meets Tuesdays on campus, with discussion boards and assignments online.
