hump day
Week's middle point
Hump day is Wednesday, the middle of the workweek.
The metaphor treats the week as a hill—once you're over the hump, it's downhill to the weekend: It's only hump day and I'm already exhausted.
The term is informal and usually appears in workplace small talk.
