graded card
Professionally assessed collectible
A graded card is a collectible trading card—sports, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering—that has been professionally evaluated and assigned a numerical condition score, typically 1-10.
The card is then sealed in a tamper-proof plastic case displaying the grade.
Higher grades command dramatically higher prices: His PSA 10 rookie card sold for thousands.
