Glow paint is paint that emits light, either by phosphorescence (absorbing light and releasing it slowly in darkness) or by containing radioactive materials.
The phosphorescent kind charges under light and glows for hours; the radioactive kind glows continuously but is now rarely used due to health concerns.
Common on watch dials, exit signs, and children's decorations: The ceiling was covered in glow paint stars.
