funnest

Peak good times

Funnest is the superlative form of fun used as an adjective: That was the funnest party I've ever been to.

Traditional grammar holds that fun is only a noun, making "most fun" correct and "funnest" wrong.

But fun has functioned as an adjective for generations, and funner/funnest follow naturally.

The forms remain informal and draw criticism from some speakers.
