funfetti cake
Confetti-speckled birthday treat
Funfetti cake is a vanilla cake with colorful sprinkles baked into the batter, creating a speckled, celebratory appearance.
The name blends "fun" and "confetti." Originally a Pillsbury brand name for their boxed cake mix, funfetti has become generic for any cake in this style: She made funfetti cupcakes for the birthday party.
