first person account
Told using "I"
A first person account is a narrative told from the perspective of someone who directly witnessed or experienced the events described.
The narrator uses "I" or "we" and speaks from their own vantage point: Her first person account of the earthquake was harrowing.
Such accounts carry the authority of direct experience but also its limitations—the narrator can only report what they personally observed or felt.
