first Saturday
Month's earliest Saturday
First Saturday refers to the first Saturday of a given month, often designated for recurring events or observances.
In Catholic tradition, the First Saturday devotion involves attending Mass, receiving communion, and praying the rosary on five consecutive first Saturdays in honor of the Virgin Mary.
Many communities also use first Saturdays for regular gatherings: The art walk happens every first Saturday.
