existential questioning

Pondering life's purpose

Existential questioning is the practice of asking fundamental questions about existence, meaning, purpose, and identity: Why am I here? What's the point of all this?

It often arises during life transitions, crises, or moments of deep reflection.

The questioning may be philosophical inquiry or genuine distress—sometimes both at once.
