excretions
Expelled biological matter
Excretions are waste materials expelled from the body—urine, feces, sweat, and similar substances eliminated through biological processes.
The term is clinical and appears most often in medical or scientific contexts: The nurse monitored the patient's excretions.
Excretion also covers waste products released by cells or organisms: Plants have excretions too.
