entrained
Carried by flow
Entrained means carried along by a flow or drawn into a current.
In physics and engineering, particles become entrained when swept up by moving air, water, or other fluids: Dust was entrained in the exhaust stream.
The word also describes synchronization—when one rhythm locks onto another: Her circadian cycle became entrained to the new time zone.
In transport contexts, to be entrained is simply to board a train.
