employee contracts
Hiring terms documents
Employee contracts are formal agreements between employers and workers establishing terms of employment—compensation, duties, duration, benefits, and conditions for termination.
Most employment is "at-will," meaning either party can end it anytime, but contracts specify circumstances under which that's not true: Her employee contract guaranteed two years of employment.
Contracts may include non-compete clauses, confidentiality requirements, or severance terms.
