drip dry
Hang until dry
Drip dry describes fabric or garments designed to dry without wringing or machine drying—you hang them wet and let gravity do the work: a drip-dry shirt.
As a verb, to drip dry is to dry something this way: Just drip dry it on a hanger.
The term emerged with synthetic fabrics that resist wrinkling when air-dried.
