Douche chills are the visceral cringe or secondhand embarrassment you feel when witnessing someone act obnoxiously self-important, try-hard, or obliviously uncool.
The term combines the dismissive slang *douche* (for an insufferable person) with the physical sensation of discomfort: I got douche chills watching him brag about his car to the waitress.
