A double turn is a pivoting movement of two full rotations, common in figure skating, ballet, and gymnastics.
The skater or dancer completes 720 degrees of rotation before landing or stopping.
In board games and card games, a double turn means taking two consecutive turns: She got a double turn after rolling doubles.
