doo-doo

Toddler's bathroom word

Doo-doo is a childish word for feces, used by or around young children to avoid more direct terms.

By extension, it describes any kind of trouble or mess: You'll be in deep doo-doo if your boss finds out.

The reduplication mimics baby talk, making it feel innocent even when adults use it humorously.
