dissuasions
Attempts to discourage
Dissuasions are acts of talking someone out of doing something, or arguments made to discourage a course of action.
The word is the noun form of dissuade and functions as the opposite of persuasions.
While persuasion moves someone toward an action, dissuasion moves them away from it.
