destoned
Freed from pits
Destoned describes fruit that has had its stone or pit removed: destoned cherries, destoned olives.
The term is more common in British English; Americans typically say pitted.
Destoned fruit is ready for cooking, canning, or eating without the hassle of removing the hard seed inside.
