design iteration
Prototype revision cycle
Design iteration is a cycle of creating, testing, and refining a product or concept.
Each iteration incorporates feedback from the previous version, gradually improving the design: After several design iterations, the interface became much more intuitive.
The process assumes that good design emerges through repeated refinement rather than appearing fully formed.
