deallocation
Returning reserved resources
Deallocation is the release of computer memory or other resources that were previously reserved for a program's use.
When software finishes with allocated memory, it deallocates that space so the system can reuse it.
Poor deallocation leads to memory leaks—resources that remain claimed but unused, gradually degrading performance.
