crumblies
Aging parent types
Crumblies is British slang for old people, often one's parents or grandparents.
The term is mildly disparaging, suggesting people who are aging and falling apart: I'm spending Christmas with the crumblies.
It emerged in the 1980s and remains informal and somewhat dated itself.
