costume mask
Identity-hiding face piece
A costume mask is a face covering worn as part of a disguise or themed outfit, typically for Halloween, masquerade balls, or theatrical performances.
Unlike protective masks, costume masks serve decorative or transformative purposes: The kids picked out superhero costume masks for trick-or-treating.
They range from simple eye masks to elaborate full-face designs.
