corporate assets
Business-owned valuable resources
Corporate assets are the resources a company owns or controls that have economic value—cash, property, equipment, intellectual property, inventory.
In accounting, assets appear on the balance sheet and are classified as current (convertible to cash within a year) or fixed (long-term holdings like buildings and machinery).
The term sometimes extends metaphorically to employees: Our people are our greatest corporate asset.
