co-published

Shared publishing credit

Co-published describes a work released jointly by two or more publishers, who share the costs, rights, and distribution responsibilities.

Academic and international titles are often co-published to reach different markets: The textbook was co-published by Oxford University Press and a Brazilian academic press.

The arrangement lets smaller publishers partner with larger ones for broader reach.
