circular knitting

Seamless tube crafting

Circular knitting is a technique that produces a seamless tube of fabric by knitting in continuous rounds rather than back-and-forth rows.

It requires circular needles or double-pointed needles and is used for socks, hats, sweaters, and sleeves: I prefer circular knitting for projects without seams.

Also called knitting in the round.
