charter trip
Reserved group travel
A charter trip is travel on a vehicle—usually a plane, bus, or boat—hired for exclusive use by a group rather than operating on a regular public schedule.
Charter trips are common for tour groups, sports teams, and corporate events: The company arranged a charter trip to the conference.
They typically offer more flexibility in timing and destination than scheduled service.
